When more than one verified mechanic nearby can do the job, yes — you compare those options. If only one is free, you still get an itemised quote to accept or decline. A single honest list is better than a fake second number.
Is this cheaper than a fixed service package?
Packages look tidy and often hide unused parts. Relatim compares the job that is due on this vehicle. That is usually less spend, and always clearer. We do not sell a fixed national menu.
Can I compare a dealer quote with an independent quote?
Yes. Send both. Use the authorised centre for warranty, campaigns and some software. Use a verified independent for routine oil, brakes, batteries and many repairs. Relatim will say when the job belongs at the dealer.
Do I need the Relatim app to compare quotes?

What should I send to get a useful comparison?
Make, model, kilometres if you know them, what is due or wrong, and the area or PIN. Photos of a warning light or a previous invoice help. Vague “full service” requests get a request to name the lines.
